More About Our Staff...

Clyde - Founder and Co-Owner

Not only is Clyde our name sake, he is also in charge of the small engine repairs here at Clyde’s. Clyde is very knowledgeable about all things gardening as well as our variety of feed options sold in store.

Jim - President and Co-Owner

Jim is an expert in all things animals, ranging from hamsters to horses making him the perfect person to answer challenging questions that customers have! In addition to animals, Jim has a passion for supporting his community! Jim is constantly collaborating with, and donating to local events!

Beast - Pup, Head of Security, Quality Control, and Greeter

Beast is responsible for greeting customers and making sure they are having as much fun as possible while shopping here at Clyde’s. He also takes the “quality control” portion of his job very seriously and can be found sniffing out the dog products to make sure they are up to his very high standards. His favorite parts of the job are definitely meeting new people & trying to hitch a ride on the UPS truck!

Jason - General Manager and Buyer

Jason is a crucial part of our team as he oversees the day to day operations at Clyde’s. His responsibilities include anything & everything that makes the store run efficiently as well as ordering all of our pet related products. Jason is eager to help anyone who shops in store & is dedicated to helping them find the perfect product for their animals!

Brian - Advertising Manager

Brian makes sure the Clyde’s brand is well represented amongst the community! He oversees print & digital advertising opportunities as well as supporting Clyde’s attendance at community events. When he is not at events, Brian enjoys working on the sales floor helping customers with any questions, especially when they have to do with fish!

Colby - Warehouse Associate

Colby is an integral part of the daily operations that happen in the warehouse at Clyde’s. You can find him driving the forklift, organizing the warehouse & helping customers load product into their cars!

Brian W - Store Manager

Brian started managing our Lockport Store in late 2017. Coming from over 20 years of experience in retail pet and living in Gasport, his position at Clyde’s brought him back home to our community. He is always looking to guide customers to proper healthy nutrition and enrichment choices for their furry friends. Away from work, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and daughter Evelyn and their menagerie of animals at home. He is also an avid bowler and past president of the Lockport Bowling Association. While Brian may be busy at the store but he is always happy to help our customers and enjoys chatting with them and saying hi!

Angela Y - Sales Professional

Angela is one of our valuable “do everything” employees. She can be found stocking, cashing, loading cars, unloading deliveries, throwing straw bales and anything else we need done. Angela works with us part time as she also owners her own business! Having her business, dogs, horse, and husband Travis to tend to makes her a very busy lady. She is happy to help with a smile if you have questions about your animals.

Jared - Warehouse

Jared is one of our newest employees! This year, he started working in our warehouse helping our customers get the proper products loaded in their vehicles. He is courteous and helpful and likes to talk about music with his co-workers. In such a short amount of time, Jared has become a valuable asset to our company and is a welcome addition to the Lockport Clyde’s Team.

Danielle R - Sales Professional

Danielle is a key contributor to the Lockport Clyde’s Team. You will find it nearly impossible to encounter Dani without a smile on her face. She is happy, pleasant, and ready to assist with virtually any pet questions you may have. Whether it be her goats, donkeys, chickens, geese, dog Dexter or farm cats she has the knowledge and expertise to answer all your questions. She loves a good book and as well as to educate her coworkers on the importance of expanding your horizons. She can occasionally be found helping Lyndon with his meal preparation on the grill to prevent congealing.

Lewis C - Warehouse

Lewis is new to Clyde’s this year and has been crucial for our warehouse and deliveries department. Coming from a background in the Marine Corp and career in Law Enforcement, his work ethic is unparalleled. Lewis can be found outside keeping the grounds in order and loading customer’s cars with their purchases. In his free time, he is an outdoorsman and enjoys tending to his family farm. On our scheduled deliveries you will also find him driving the company truck out to deliver and load our farm deliveries.

Lydon S - Warehouse

Everyone, meet Lyndon! Lyndon has been with Clyde’s for just over 5 years now. During his time at Clyde’s Lyndon has gone from a part time warehouse employee to a full time warehouse and sales floor professional. He has experience in the horticulture space and can assist with various growing media. During any spare time, you can find Lyndon enthralled in music. Whether it is playing or singing in his band, or attending various concerts or shows a large part of Lyndon’s life is music. Feel free to stop in and ask him about one of his favorite bands, Aerosmith!

Rachael H - Sales Professional

Everyone knows Rachael! Rachael has been a key member of our sales floor professionals for five years. She has made her life’s work in animal care from early on at a pet store to veterinary offices to Clyde’s. Animals are truly Rachael’s passion. She is always busy exercising her dogs and walking her clients' dogs. From camping to concerts she maintains a healthy mix of quiet time & socializing with those who share her passions. She spends her work days meticulously cleaning the store and awaiting the next puppy or dog she gets to great with a squeaky toy. Rachael is well versed in canine nutrition and enrichment and is ready to serve you during your next visit with us.

Savannah P - Sales Professional

Everyone, say hi to Savannah. To put it simply, Savannah is the glue that holds our Lockport Team together. She has transitioned from a part time to full time employee and has recently traveled to the Purina Research Center where she received training in animal nutrition. Savannah has assumed many roles on our sales floor that have provided much needed support to her coworkers. With her eye for organization, she keeps the aisles in the store neat and well stocked. In her free time, Savannah works on a farm tending to various animals.
